mouvance… always further you say… until the end of the world… and the end of the world is blue… (Gérald Leblanc, 1945-2005)
These words, by the Acadian poet Gérald Leblanc are at the basis of a multimedia adventure Suzie LeBlanc and myself have been developing since 2016. They express the feelings that Suzie and I have been cherishing for a long time and that have led to a very intense artistic collaboration.
Now, mouvance is a studio album, with musicians Norman Adams, cello, Doug Cameron, percussion, Jeff Torbert, guitar, and Eileen Walsh, clarinets. It is also a series of short films produced by Renée Blanchar of Ça Tournes Productions, and directed by Denise Bouchard, Julien Cadieux, Stéphane Levesque, Kevin McIntyre, Katrine Noël and Jérôme Luc Paulin.
With mouvance, we invite you to travel with us until the end of the world…
