These words, by the Acadian poet Gérald Leblanc are at the basis of a multimedia adventure Suzie LeBlanc and myself have been developing since 2016. They express the feelings that Suzie and I have been cherishing for a long time and that have led to a very intense artistic collaboration.
Now, mouvance is a studio album, with musicians Norman Adams, cello, Doug Cameron, percussion, Jeff Torbert, guitar, and Eileen Walsh, clarinets. It is also a series of short films produced by Renée Blanchar of Ça Tournes Productions, and directed by Denise Bouchard, Julien Cadieux, Stéphane Levesque, Kevin McIntyre, Katrine Noël and Jérôme Luc Paulin.
